Lisa van Haandel’s hospitality experience and career as an owner operator of boutique hotels, 2 & 3 hatted restaurants, giant pub venues, music venues, slick casual eateries and eclectic bars spans 30 years. 

These include in St Kilda; The Prince of Wales Hotel, Circa The Price, Mink Bar, Carousel, and the first 20 years of the Stokehouse.
In Byron Bay; The Beach Hotel and Pacific Dining Room, and in Melbourne CBD the iconic Longrain Restaurant.

Her newest venture is a contemporary rooftop bar in the old stables above Longrain called Longsong that opened in November 2017. 

Lisa is a hands-on operator. Her intimate knowledge, different offerings and service levels required for each venue type and her love of the hospitality industry insure she is a driving force behind the establishment and success of hers and husband John’s businesses.
